Besides, TV serial Pavitra Rishta and Bigg Boss 17 fame actress Ankita Lokhande is also a part of the film. The actress has played the role of Veer Savarkar’s wife Yamunabai in the film. Recently, the producer of this film Sandeep Singh has revealed that Ankita did not charge a single rupee for the film ‘Savarkar’.
Sandeep Singh told that Ankita Lokhande had put a condition before him before doing the film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’. The actress had said that she would not take any money from him for doing the film. Sandeep said that when he offered this film to Ankita, she said yes without even hearing the story and role.

The producer of the film further said that Ankita Lokhande said that she always had faith in Sandeep’s work. The actress always wanted Sandeep Singh to become a director. Let us tell you that Sandeep Singh made his debut as a director in December 2023. Sandeep told that earlier he had offered the film ‘Safed’ to Ankita, but then the actress could not do the film. After this, she was offered the role of Yamunabai in ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’, when Ankita heard it, she said yes to the film.
The producer told that Ankita had put a condition before him before working in the film. Ankita Lokhande told him, ‘I will not take any fees for this film. I can’t take money from you for any role. After this Sandeep had said, ‘Okay then you will be in every film of mine.’
